15th Anniversary! This album was recorded in 2002 and only a few copies have circulated among friends, until now. Written and recorded during a very difficult transitional time in my life, disillusioned with Hollywood, recently heartbroken, betrayed by a friend, the music poured out of me very quickly as a personal expression of hope and reconciliation as I worked through some things. I've decided to re-release it as-is. It's very much like jumping into a time machine to visit an old friend. There's a lot of heartache here, but also some good humor too. I hope you enjoy this very personal record and that it brings you much comfort and joy.
As a bonus, Track 11 "Anything You Want (Live)" is the original version of the song recorded on a micro-cassette recorder as it was improvised live - a spontaneous composition - recorded at an LA venue in 2001, back when I was booking myself as an improvisational entertainer. I would make all kinds of stuff up right there on the spot; a hybrid of: alternative-comedy / performance art / jazz / and god-only-knows. I liked the tune, so I worked on it after the fact and it became the title track for this album.
